| | I think I've sort of.. refined my views a little bit. Let me start off by making myself sound like a republican even though I'm not one.
1) Anti-gay marriage 2) Anti-abortion 3) Anti-big government 4) Pro-guns
Wee. ^o^
Anyways though the anti-gay marriage thing isn't entirely accurate. As some may know I've been pro-gay marriage in the past. So why the change? Well the truth is I changed my view on marriage. I was pro-gay marriage because I thought of marriage as a governmental function. Instead now I view it as a religious function. However I am still not content with how marriage works now. I think there should be absolutely ZERO governmental involvement into marriage. It should be decided by the churches as it's a religious function. Which means I'm not really anti-gay marriage.. it's just the system I would like to see in place wouldn't allow for it.
I used to argue that anti-gay marriage folks didn't respect people's religions because not everyone is christian. Now I argue that pro-gay marriage folks are anti-religion because they want to change a religion they don't believe in to suit their needs.
